Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Rinkmate app and website (collectively, "Rinkmate"), operated by Jackass Engineering, LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using Rinkmate, you agree to these terms.

Who can use Rinkmate

Rinkmate accounts are for adults - team managers, coaches, and parents/guardians. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. Team rosters may include information about minors (e.g. player names, jersey numbers), which must be entered by an adult with authority to do so, such as a parent, guardian, or coach.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you add, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for what happens under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

Team content and conduct

You're responsible for the messages, photos, roster entries, and other content you post to a team. Don't use Rinkmate to post content that's unlawful, harassing, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Dues tracking is not a payment service

Rinkmate lets a team manager track who owes dues and mark who has paid. Rinkmate does not process payments, hold funds, or move money between members. Any actual exchange of money happens outside Rinkmate, between team members, using whatever method your team already uses. Rinkmate isn't a party to those payments and isn't responsible for disputes about them.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Rinkmate: don't try to access another team's data without authorization, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the app, or use it for anything unlawful.

Termination

You can stop using Rinkmate and delete your account at any time (see our account deletion instructions). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to Rinkmate or its users.

Disclaimer of warranties

Rinkmate is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific needs.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jackass Engineering, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Rinkmate, including disputes between team members over dues, scheduling, or team content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Rinkmate changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do, and post material changes within the app.
